Spring Time in Florida

We have a lake in our backyard and theres about 6 ducks that hang out together,well one of the ducks was missing alot and now we know why! Here she is with her 11 new babies!! They can't be more then a week old. I just love how the mommy does'nt leave their side. They are so cute. There's like three yellow ones and all black ones and a couple of black and white ones.

Shrink plastic mini book.

This is a little book I made out of shrink plastic. The title is "Happily ever After". It fits in the palm of your hand,only 1in and 3/4 tall and about an inch wide. It has about 30 pages inside which are made up of music sheets, pictures, and some pages are stamped. I stitched it together using a coptic stitch.

Over at Think Monday Think ATC the theme is lyrics from a song. I chose the rose by bette midler. The song always made me think of what it really was about. To me its about a women whose heart is broken and is afraid to fall in love again. But then again it could also mean theres hope for tomorrow??

This is for a round robin I'm doing. The name of the book is "language of hands" I chose to use a fan because back in the victorian days the women held the fan in different ways to flirt with men. Very Romantic!!!
