"Update on Baby Austin"

Sorry no pictures today,I just wanted to post alittle update on baby Austin. The medicine that they are giving him to raise his platelette levels is not working,so they are going to wait until tomorrow to see if they went up any and if not then they will try another medicine,if that does'nt work they are talking about bone marrow transplant.
My daughter and her husband have lots of faith to get them through this.They also have a two year old at home. Somebody always has to be with Austin,so they are taking turns at the hospital and trying to hold jobs.They have alot of family that is taking turns helping. Austin is very fragile right now,any kind of fall can cause internal bleeding with the platelette levels so low.Which is so hard for a one year old that just wants to get down and play. Thank you so much for your prayers.Please keep praying.

I started making this girl yesterday,when I realized she was an "Angel" I received a phone call from my daughter telling me that she was on her way to the hospital with my grandson who just turned one. He woke up from his nap with bruises all over him for no reasons,they were'nt like normal bruisesand they got worst all through the night,thats when my daughter decided to call the doctor.He had'nt fallen or was never hit so we knew something wasn't right. He's in the hospital now,it has something to do with his platelettes,if my daughter had not caught this in time he could have easily bled internally with a simple fall that most one year olds do,especially just learning how to walk. This is the same baby that was born prematurely and had alot of complications when he was born.So please say a few prayers for him. Thank you.

"PERFECT"

This is a mixed media painting,its done on a piece of wood.6x12. The title is "Perfect". If you look closely theres a faint cross in her eye and throughout the painting. I used oil pastels,graphite,colored pencils and acrylic paints and inks. You can't really tell in the picture but theres also alot of texture in her hair and some gold mica glitter through out.
