Mixed Media Monday,Theme"Story Time"

This one I decided to do in my journal book. Its a sad story about a house. In case you can't read it,it says "Once upon a time there was a house full of love and laughter. The house thought they would be together forever but soon everybody left one by one." There is alot of meaning behind this short story! I know it looks kind of cluttered but I'm used to doing alot on one page.My thoughts just go on and on!

...and I'm left to wonder if they just grew up and moved on to their own lives, or if they left because the family fell apart! I want to know the rest of the story! Very emotive page. Well done.

Buffy, your picture tweaked sad memories for me. When I was 13 or 14, there were six people living in my house. Within a year, my two sisters had married, my brother left home and my mother died, leaving just my Dad and me. Everyone leaves eventually, but not always all at once!
I love your piece. I love anything that strikes a cord in me. Beautiful work.

Great page!! I really like the sentiment behind it. I'd imagine that one day I'll feel a little sad when my boys have grown up and moved out. Hard to imagine now as they are very young and lots of hard work. So anyway you just reminded me to enjoy the craziness while I can!! I like a lot of things on one page it makes it very interesting well done!
