Rainy days and starry nights...

We had a little tropical depression come through so it was rainy for a couple of days. I enjoy it when it rains, its a nice change from the heat and plus it gives me a reason to stay home and do some art. Not that I need a reason, I think I just feel less guilty. Did a couple of journal pages. My moleskin is finished. I just love it,its so thick ,with stuff sticking out of it. This is my second completed book. I always have two or three going on at once. I really don't know why but from what I read on other blogs,I'm not the only one.
My daughter goes back to school next week. I'm always sad when she goes back. I think I just know that it means she's getting older. I always cry alittle on the first day. I know thats silly. Off to do more school shopping. Hope everybody has a great day.

Your pics and your artwork are awesome. My moleskins also look like that...lol.
I remember last Fall my daughter started college and I was driving down the street behind a bus on the first day of school. It dropped off the kids from 1st grade and I sat in my car and cried....lol.

Wow, look at those scary skies--glad it was nothing major. It must be so fun to look through your journals and just to see the different times of your art--you know what I mean? (different art with different moods)
I just like to look through my sketch book at my sketches--of what I have of them. I'm hoping to get more into journaling next year--I'm planning on having a lighter load next year with my shows.

I love it when it rains too! I have always loved storms.

Your Moleskine looks fantastic. I love the little piece of lace at the bottom. And I know it is filled with beautiful pages.

First days of school, always so bittersweet!

Hugs!

I've always got several sketchbooks on the go too!
I love those weather shots - when the sky is dark and heavy but somewhere the sun is shining and illuminating the clouds from underneath.
