Pumpkin bread,YUM!! and the night angel

Finally made the pumpkin bread. Here's the recipe if anybody wants to try it. I serve this on thanksgiving too. 1 can of pure pumpkin 15 ounce
4 eggs
1 cup veg oil
2/3 cup water
3 cups of suger
3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon gound nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cloves ground
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

oven 350 degrees, grease and flour loaf pans. 7x3 loaf pan 3 of them or you can use the small ones. Thats what I do so I can share. If you do the small ones theres enough for 8 small loafs.

Mix all dry ingrediants together and whisk. Set aside. In another bowl mix all the wet (suger is wet) Mix all the wet ingrediants with a mixer and slowly add dry ingrediants until mixture is blended add to pans and bake for about 45 minutes. You can check to see if done with a toothpick if it comes out clean then its done. Enjoy! Oh you could add raisins or nuts. I add raisins sometimes. Well now I'm craving more pumpkin bread!

Thanks so much for this recipe Buffy. Yes I do like pumpkin bread very much!
Love your angel--I think we're on the same wavelength--I'm trying to paint one now.

Hi my first visit, really my second as I was here earlier, and then got distracted by something like a task that isn't finished either and then you photo said, go take care of those overipe bananas on the counter so I did, then back to the task and now I am back because I couldn't stop thinking about what your mom said, and it was like hearing my mom. My mom would of said to me, why do you paint stuff like that, meaning the kind of thing I do now. So all the emotions came flooding, I sort of was amused, then sort of sad, and even a little anger popped in. So silly after she has been gone so long, since 82 and I can still feel the emotions of her visits.
then when doing the garden task I heard her say, who would of thought you could garden like that?
It is true who would of thought I would garden to this extent.

I think your art is beautiful and of course you don't know this, but everytime I start a painting I think I am not going to be to srazy and overdue with additions and color, I want serene and total focas on subject. You do this so well and your subjects are very meaningful in their presence.
thank you for a great visit and memories, memories thata can now be smiled at and the smile is the strong emotion.

First thank you for your comments, buffy! you are such a doll!
Second...your painting is so spectacular...i love the appearance of a seemingly loose and happy, spiritual look to this angel. and i just have to say it again, "i love your colors and what you do to them"! xo

Your angels have a real magic about them Buffy. There's some quality I can't quite put my finger on that takes them to the next level. Absolutely fab!

Hi Buffy! When you get a chance to draw a "Willowing" face you will do great. She makes it so very easy.
